⚠️ Scam Awareness - IAN KAMIL BIN IRWAN KAMIL

IAN KAMIL BIN IRWAN KAMIL (also known as Ian Kamil or IAN KAMIL) listed a Wilson Blade v8 tennis racket on Carousell Malaysia for RM350, which was an attractive price. The listing had "Buyer Protection" attached to it, which provided a sense of security.

After purchasing through the platform, Ian Kamil (phone: 012-9787215, +60129787215, 0129787215, 60129787215, 6012-9787215, 012 978 7215) immediately messaged to cancel and refund the order. He explained that the account was not his own but rather his brother's, and therefore online transactions would not work for him.

Instead, IAN KAMIL BIN IRWAN KAMIL offered to transact using Touch 'n Go (TNG). Initially skeptical, the buyer ultimately trusted him because he only asked for half payment upfront.

After receiving the payment, Ian Kamil from Ipoh Perak claimed to have shipped the item but provided no proof of delivery. Subsequently, no updates were received even after countless messages regarding shipment updates. It is assumed the buyer was blocked. This scammer from Malaysia has been reported for fraudulent activity.

Conveniently, IAN KAMIL BIN IRWAN KAMIL's Instagram profile went from public to private after the transaction. However, the buyer had already captured screenshots of the Instagram profile before transacting.

After a week of observing, I can see the same exact listing being marked as "Sold", meaning somebody else had made online payment through Carousell. Shortly after, the listing was reverted back to "Available", meaning IAN KAMIL BIN IRWAN KAMIL (Ian Kamil, phone: 012-9787215, +60129787215, 0129787215, 60129787215, 6012-9787215, 012 978 7215) is actively working on this scam. This pattern confirms that the scammer is systematically targeting multiple victims by canceling legitimate Carousell transactions and redirecting them to off-platform payments.
